50's Inspiration for the Retro Bride | AJ Photography

The vision for this styled wedding shoot began with my love for retro and vintage, I tend to favor the more funky aspects but I wanted to show how simple touches and add in's of this era can create a soft elegant wedding that has retro side with a vintage feel blending so well together! What better then the site of one of St. Albert's oldest churches, the brick and stone work of this magnificent church created the perfect backdrop so romantic and bold. Adding in the presence of this 1934 Ford Deluxe Tudor Sedan gave a statement almost charismatic if you will, adding luxury and creating a setting all in it's own.

Detail from the bird cage veil, pearls and short 50's inspired dress gave this bride a fun but soft elegant feel. As each aspect and individual touches comes together it takes you back to a simpler time putting you right in the heart of it all.
